Baked Birdy Event

Volunteers will assist in preparing turkeys to help feed the homeless at the Thanksgiving Day Event. Responsibilities include setting up, cleaning, and cooking. This event is one of the requirements for the Thanksgiving Day Event.

  • Wear comfortable, closed shoes.

  • Bring lunch, snacks, and a bottle of water(s)

  • Download the Insurance/Accident waiver. Please fill it out and take a picture/scan it and send to srim@me.bergen.edu. If you do not have insurance, write None. If you are under 18, a signature of a parent/guardian is required.

There are thee different shifts:

  • 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

  • 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM

  • 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM (All Day)

There will be a 1-2 hour break while the turkeys are cooking in the oven so please bring something to preoccupy your time such as your laptop, ipod, homework, or etc. We are not responsible for any lost or broken items.

There will be a sign in/out sheet for this event. Please notify and inform Stephanie (srim@me.bergen.edu) of your attendance or any cancellations.
